What is this Trello that everyone is talking about??

Ever feel like your business is a disorganised mess?
Your brain feels like it’s so full it might explode? Or that you are spinning countless plates and any minute now one could crash to the floor?
Then let’s look at what the heck is Trello?
Trello is a FREE online tool you can use to organise and manage tasks, lists and way much more, little do you know it can be used for anything and everything.
I’ve been using Trello for about 5 months and it’s incredible and the best part is having everything all in one place.
Honestly, it was a no brainer for me and I think it will be for you too.
One of the many cool features being able to invite people to your board to collaborate with you, for instance I run my own business out of this program and I have my clients in there too with their own boards.
It’s like a crazy wall of post it notes that someone has taken off your hands and organised neatly, they can be dragged and dropped from one list to another, plus it has an app so you can still be organised on the go.
Are you a visual person? And love making lists? Then Trello is the tool for you.
You can make it look as elaborate or plain as you want to - I prefer elaborate.
As a busy entrepreneur and a single mum I have a ton of things on the go at the same time. Previously I will admit that I was a notebook freak, notebooks all over the place. Trello gives me a place to keep it all together in once place.
So what type of boards can you have in Trello??
This is a hard one as it's completely bespoke to you. Trello is made up of boards, lists and cards…..when one board is open that’s the only board you can see at any one time keeping you fully focused.
Each board is made up of horizontal lists and the headings on the list are totally up to you. Underneath each list are the cards and how many lists and cards you have is totally in your hands.
It can be colour coded, create custom fields for whatever fits with your needs, create checklists, attach documents from your pc or from google drive or dropbox. The flexibilities are endless.
One of my favourite boards is my social media board. I can create the headlines for the posts that I want to write or I can actually write the whole post the description and keep them all neat and tidy and then copy and paste when I am ready to post them.
Below is the example of my social media board.

Each card has a front and back. The front is what you see when you are looking at the board as a whole, the back is what you see when you click the card.
The back of the card holds all the details about that task or item.
Below is the example of the back of the card with much more detail, in this case my post that I want to use at a later date.
